DENTAL IMPLANTS IN PINNER

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental Implants are a long lasting, natural looking replacement for missing gaps in the mouth.

An implant is formed of 3 components: a titanium screw which is implanted into the jaw bone, an abutment which protrudes through the gum and a dental crown which is then placed on top of the abutment. The titanium screw acts like the false tooth's new root. All elements are fixed into the mouth to enable you to chew properly again and restore and maintain your facial shape.

Procedure

Dental implants are usually fitted during two separate procedures.

During the first appointment, the implant is inserted into the jawbone. Then, 4-8 months later, the false tooth is attached on top of the implant to complete your new tooth.

A temporary tooth will be put in place between appointments to ensure you can smile and eat properly during the healing process.
